Triton Regional High School - Byfield, MA
Blazing Saddles is one of the earliest rides of the Fall century season. Travel through the rural towns of Boston's North Shore and southern New Hampshire; ride along beautiful rivers, lakes, and bridges; see New England churches, town halls, and farms. The terrain includes rolling hills, long flats, and rural roads. The nearby ocean furnishes cool breezes. Trees provide plenty of shade, and the sun lends warmth on those open flats.
Route Options
Blazing Saddles includes routes of 35, 50, 62, and 100 miles. The 62-mile route is the same as the century until it splits off near the 50-mile stop. This way, you can wait until the last moment to decide how far you want to ride. The 35-mile loop is as flat as we could possibly make it.
Century route has 2 full rest stops (at 47 and 77 miles) and a water stop at 25 miles. Other routes have 1 full rest stop and the water stop.
