Looking forward to seeing you at our 2009 event.
Triton Regional High School - Byfield, MA
Blazing Saddles is one of the earliest rides of the Fall century season. Travel through the rural towns of Boston's North Shore and southern New Hampshire; ride along beautiful rivers, lakes, and bridges; see New England churches, town halls, and farms. The terrain includes rolling hills, long flats, and rural roads. The nearby ocean furnishes cool breezes. Trees provide plenty of shade, and the sun lends warmth on those open flats.
Route Options
Blazing Saddles includes routes of 50, 62, and 100 miles. The 62-mile route is the same as the century until it splits off near the 50-mile stop. This way, you can wait until the last moment to decide how far you want to ride.
Century route has 2 full rest stops (at 47 and 77 miles) and a water stop at 25 miles. Other routes have 1 full rest stop and the water stop.
Click here to see the routes from last year. This year, we rerouted the second half because the Parker River Bridge is out on 1A, but you may like this route even better!.
Registration
Registration fee covers cue sheets, maps, arrowed route, rest stops with food and refreshments, after-ride refreshments, and water bottles for the first 300 registrants. Massage therapists will be available after the ride for a nominal fee.
