Blazing Saddles is one of the earliest rides of the fall century season. Travel through the rural towns of Boston's North Shore and southern New Hampshire. Ride along beautiful rivers, lakes, salt marshes and bridges; past New England churches, town halls, and farms. The terrain includes rolling hills, long sunny flats, and rural roads. The nearby ocean provides cool breezes, trees provide plenty of shade in places, and the sun lends warmth on those open flat stretches.
Stop at one or all of our well-stocked rest stops and enjoy a post-ride lunch/social gathering. Lunch includes pizza, hot dogs, chips, and assorted beverages.
Feel confident knowing the security of SAG support and mechanics for minor repairs are readily available.
Visit the 2024 Blazing Saddles Century photo gallery for a view of the event's diverse scenery and of the many joyful participants and volunteers.
Charity Effort - Fifty percent of the combined 2024 Blazing Saddles Century net income will be donated to bike related charities including Coastal Trails Coalition, East Coast Greenway, MassBike and Topsfield Rail Trail.
